SONOVA presents “Brassy Jazzy Christmas,” a strong lineup of Christmas and holiday favorites. Inspired by Stan Kenton’s album “A Merry Christmas!,” SONOVA has created a jazz band--substituting french horns for saxophones--for a jazzy feel with a uniquely brassy sound. Audience members can expect to enjoy a number of carols, classical holiday favorites such as selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, movie music from Home Alone composed by John Williams, and even an arrangement of Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas is You. The concert will conclude with crowd favorite Sleigh Ride.
