Jacquelynne Fontaine-Isaac![]() We’re excited to feature a special guest joining SONOVA for Level Up: A Controller-Based Concert: the powerhouse soprano and gamer, Jacquelynne Fontaine-Isaac.
With over 1,000 performances as Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera National Tour, Jacquelynne is no stranger to dramatic storytelling or high scores. When she’s not teaching voice in the DC area or performing across the country, she’s deep in the world of Baldur’s Gate 3 (700+ hours and counting). Yes, the game is just that good. Jacquelynne’s career spans both opera and musical theatre, with performances in Italy, Canada, and across the U.S. She has starred in productions like La Traviata, The King and I, and A Little Night Music. Most recently, she performed “Opera Meets Broadway” with the Rome Symphony in Georgia. Offstage, she is a dedicated conductor, voice teacher, and new mom. Her debut album, Songs to a Little One, is coming in Spring 2026. |
Vocal Arts of FairfaxUnder the direction of Michael Ehrlich, this adult chorus of 120+ singers performs a variety of genres, including traditional choral literature, American folk songs and spirituals, music of different cultures, vocal jazz, and Broadway.
Along with bringing choral music to the community, the ensemble embraces the true meaning of community by seeking diversity in its make-up and in its repertoire. Additionally, the ensemble embraces all elements of our community to foster inclusiveness, to help those in need, and to share our love of the choral art. Kristi PerryA Nashville native, Kristi picked up the clarinet at age 10 and never looked back. Her musical journey has taken her from Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera House, performing with ensembles across Ireland, China, South Korea, and Australia. She’s played under the batons of legends like Eric Whitacre and H. Robert Reynolds, and played with groups ranging from the Carolina Philharmonic to Leon Jordan’s Continentals Big Band. She also served as a clarinetist and saxophonist in the U.S. Army Bands and the North Carolina National Guard Band for over a decade.
But Kristi doesn’t stop at music. She also holds a Master of Medical Science from Yale and currently practices as a Physician Assistant. Yes, folks, she can do it all! When she’s not performing with SONOVA or energizing crowds with the Washington Commanders’ Marching Band, Kristi is all about growth, creativity, and inspiring others to lead with curiosity and conviction. |
This concert is in partnership with Child's Play.
Child’s Play Charity is rooted in the healing power of play. Endowed by the gaming community, Child’s Play is devoted to improving the lives of children and teens in children’s hospitals.
Child’s Play was born in 2003 when Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins of Penny Arcade wanted to change the negative perception of gaming and gamers in the media. In response, they challenged their fans to support Seattle Children’s Hospital through an Amazon Wishlist. In less than one month, they raised over $250,000 in cash and toys.
Since then, Child’s Play has expanded to 190+ network hospitals across the globe, and contributions reach far beyond just games and technology. In 2015 Child’s Play debuted the therapeutic video game guide, enabling Child Life to be intentional when choosing specific games to provide a child. In 2017 Child’s Play funded the first Pediatric Gaming and Technology Specialists within children's Hospitals. This new career field brings dedicated gaming experts into the hospitals to support therapeutic gaming and technology integration, provide gaming system support and play games with kids to improve the pediatric patient experience.
With your support, Child's Play Charity will continue to improve the lives of pediatric patients and find new ways to help children Play Games, Feel Better™.
